Overview

We designed a unified, fan‑first web experience for Bengaluru FC that blends live football energy with seamless shopping and data-rich storytelling. The proposal delivers a scalable design system and complete journey coverage: Home, Fixtures and Match Detail, Team and Player Profiles, News, Shop (PLP/PDP), Cart, Checkout, and Order Confirmation.

The challenge

Bengaluru FC, a powerhouse in Indian football, needed to reinvent their digital experience to:

  • Unify fan journeys across content, stats, ticketing, and merch.

  • Respect “India-first” needs: UPI, wallets, mobile UX, and local compliance.

  • Showcase the club’s achievements, heroes, and merchandise while supporting fast updates across competitions and seasons.

  • Balance emotion (“the stadium experience”) with utility (buy, follow, engage).

Goal:

Build trust and excitement on first arrival—make every fan, new or old, feel the club’s spirit.

  • Streamline ticket and merchandise purchases for all fans, everywhere.

  • Present match data and player analytics in a clear, story-driven way.

  • Ensure every touchpoint (content, stats, shopping, support) feels visually and technically “on brand”—scalable for future seasons and competitions.

Experience Strategy:

1. Story + Utility:

From the stadium hero and match reports to instant “Buy Tickets” and “Shop” actions—every section serves both narrative and conversion.

2. Connected Journeys:

Cross-link fixtures → ticketing; news → shop; player stats → team pages; enable fluid browsing.

3. Progressive Density:

Quick-glance stats and big visuals on entry, deep-dive analytics, squad compare, and long-form news for power users and media.

4. Commerce Confidence:

India-first payment options, clear returns, address validation, order tracking. Designed for trust, clarity, and speed.

  • Increase engagement depth and drive revenue from tickets and merchandise

  • Make complex match and player data legible for casual fans, useful for power users
